Jerry Creed, EPLS, JD
Jerry obtained his Jurist Doctorate from William S Boyd School of Law, UNLV (2006), and his BS degree in Aviations from San Jose State University (1989). He passed the Nevada Bar in 2008. On May 28, 2014 Jerry was awarded the Estate Planning Law Specialist Certification by the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc. and was then recognized as a Board-Certified Specialist by the State Bar of Nevada.
He describes his focus as "an unreasonable commitment to co-creating estate plans that work." He is an active member of Elder Counsel and Wealth Counsel. He was previously a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. Over the years, more than two thirds of Jerry's practice has been devoted to Estate Planning.
Prior to the Practice of Law, Jerry was an officer in the United States Air Force. He served his country as a pilot flying E-3 and F-11 aircrafts. After more than ten years of service, Jerry left the USAF for a government contractor, EG&G, based out of Las Vegas. During his free time he attended law school at night.
Jerry is proud of being an Eagle Scout and his 3rd place finish at the American Bar Association National Client Counseling competition, after winning the Western US Regional Law School Competition and Boyd Law School Competitions. Law school coaches use the video of the final round to train future lawyers to this day.
As a family man Jerry has been married to his high school sweetheart for 27 years and has two wonderful children. His hobbies include Christmas Lights, Lionel trains, big dogs, souring, and spending time with his family.
